So, you may have seen mention of "a book", "the book", etc. I've decided that my story is just too bonkers not to put into an easily readable, hopefully entertaining, and more importantly hopefully HELPFUL IN SOME WAY book for any other queers out there who are like "what the fuck?" or are like "has anyone else all of a sudden had their entire life turned upside down by new, strong, unavoidable feelings of gay?" The answer, of course, is yes! And so I'm writing a thing.
The book (working title, "Married, Divorced, and Gay by 30") is going to go waaaay back, farther back than this blog does, to before I was even married to my now ex-husband, when I was doing pretty ridiculous, but well documented (by me) things. It will then continue through how my life has so drastically changed, and I hope to fill in some of the gaps that have been left in this blog. Those gaps were not intentional, I promise you, but I will try to fill some of them in, if I can remember what the hell happened.
My story, when told in full, covers a lot of ground, I realized, and explores a lot of pretty confusing shit that a lot of us struggle with: monogamy, fidelity, being in our 20s, sexual identity, figuring out how to have sex with girls, being screwed over by people we think we're in love with, the list goes on.
So, anyway, yeah. I'm working on that. In the meantime, I'll try to update New Lesbian a bit more, and I will DEFINITELY be on twitter, because I have recently become kind of obsessed with twitter. Send help.
